~  What Ilayaraja is trying to do after years of being scammed by these savarnas , is simply to claim the wages of his labour which  is rightfully his ! the savarnas have already made a Demi-God of Ilayaraja while he is still alive and will surely make him a god after his era . They do this as a part of their counter revolution to kill the rebellious identity in him and his music  , make his music all about some useless metaphysical nonsense so they can appropriate ,own , sell and profit from it , while his progenies are sidelined and impoverished.Ilayaraja is a normal human being just like any of us ,through his sheer hard work and talent he has made himself a genius . For the benefit of those in the rest of India who unfortunately can't listen to Ranjith's speeches in Tamil and discussions about it ,except for the twisted version that "mainstream Savarna media " seeks to propagate , the following is a small attempt at providing context , a comment in a friend's post which I have posted here . For over a century now , every periyarist here has been exposing every brahminical king and his casteist deeds . The point is Ranjith has been taking the side of the Brahmins by saying they have been unnecessarily vilified by the periyarists for a century to fool the Dalits into subjugation and that the entire problem with the caste system is only because of a few landed shudra and vellala castes and not the Brahmins . He says shudra lands must be expropriated (but not Brahmins and temple lands ) . he has converted the entire anti caste struggle here into a simple binary confrontation Between merely the populous SC and the landed ...

No one automatically becomes an Ambedkarite just because one is an SC by birth nor does one become a periyarist just because he is born a BC . Does anyone say a TTV or a Ramadoss is  a periyarist just because their caste falls under the bc list ?on the contrary  day in day out they are exposed for being the casteists that they are . Then how come Ranjith ,( who says things like , the Dravidian movement has been fooling the people by cunningly portraying brahmanism and Brahmins as villains,north indian Hindia is not the enemy but the dravidian idea is the Trojan horse etc etc quite consistently ),is celebrated as an icon of the pan India ambedkarite movement , especially by the populous SC castes? Isn't it obvious that this guy has either not studied the Ambedkar- Periyar perspective or is willfully appropriating them to suit his cynical personal ambitions .
